Online » Video Submission Rules
• Participants must submit their video recording link together with the application form.
(No video revisions will be accepted after registration is submitted.)
Late applications (up to 3 days after the regular deadline) will incur an administrative fee of IDR 100k / USD 10.
• Videos may be recorded at home, in a private studio, or at a music school. However, recordings from other competition venues or live performances are not recommended.
• The recording must be performed solely by the applicant and must not be edited in any way—neither the audio nor video. No visual or sound effects should be added, including titles or captions (e.g., name, category, or piece title). Such information should instead be included in the YouTube video title section.
• All pieces must be performed from memory. Performers should observe “Da Capo” and “Dal Segno” markings, while all other repeats (including first endings) should be omitted, unless specifically required by the repertoire.
• The video should be recorded from a fixed camera position to avoid shakiness. The performer should face the camera as in a live performance. Ensure that the performer’s face and hands are clearly visible throughout, and where possible, the entire keyboard and pedals should also be in view.
• It is recommended to record in landscape mode (horizontal orientation).
• Participants will not be penalized for video quality, but it must be clear enough for both image and sound to accurately represent the performance.
• Video Upload Platform: YouTube only.
• YouTube Video Format:
• Title: IYPO2026 – [Participant’s Name] – [Category] – [Composer: Title of Work]
• Privacy Setting: “Public” or “Unlisted.”
Please check your video’s visibility settings before submitting your application, and ensure it remains accessible for the entire competition period.
• Copy the shareable YouTube link and paste it into the registration form.
